
🌸ALU VADI IS A SNACK THAT IS POPULAR IN MAHARASHTRA AND GUJARAT.🌸
🌸In Marathi they call “ALUCHI VADI” and in Gujarati they call “PATRA”.🌸
🌸These are steamed and shallow fried to make delicious snack.🌸
🌸I just love to make this amazing dish. It’s easy quick and easy to make.🌸
🌸I SUGGEST YOU ALL DO TRY THIS RECIPE AT HOME YOU WILL FEEL HAPPY.🌸
🌸INGREDIENTS.🌸 ○ 1 cup besan
○ 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
○ 1/2 tsp garlic paste
○ 1 tsp chilli powder
○ 1/2 cumin seeds
○ salt to taste
○ oil for fry
○ 2 aloo leaves ( as per our quantity)
○ water as needed
○ 1 cup rice Power. ○ some chopped coriander
🌸STEPS TO FOLLOW🌸(Recipe)
○✨Take 1 cup besan add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garlic paste, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 cumin seeds, 1/4 rice powder, salt to taste. Mix everything well and keep it aside to rest.✨
○✨Take 1 aloo Wadi leaf wash it well. Clean with cloth or tissue and make it dry then cut it’s stalk and keep it ok plate and start applying the batter evenly on the rough side of the leaf with your hands. Repeat the same process with another leaf.✨
○✨Put one on one the leaf. Where the batter is applied.then do one fold from left side and one fold from right side and start rolling it from upwards to downwards.✨
○✨After making rolls keep it. take a pot and add 1/2 cup water in it. Place the pot on the gass. Grese the dish nicely with oil and place it on the pot put the rolls with sealed side facing down on the dish and steam it on medium heat flame for 15 minutes.✨
○✨After steaming it for 15 minutes. Let it cool down.Then cut into 1/2″ wide pieces make sure they are wide and thinner.✨
○✨Heat up the oil. Drop the Wadi in oil and deep fry it until the Wadi’s turn nicely reddish in color from both the sides.take aloo Wadi from oil and drain it out excess oil and transfer them into tissue.✨
○ ✨Garnish it with some chopped coriander and serve aloo Wadi’s with pudina chuyney, tomato sauce.✨
